so after playing around with the logos i've managed to narrow it down to these three. I chose the color green because it represents growth, health, renewal, and nature. Before I started digitalizing the collateral stuff, I wanted to get a better sense of my logo. what do you guys think?
This is looking great! You're almost there...definitely preferring the ones without the black background...I think there's just a bit too much going on, with the circle inside the black rectangle. The relationship/scale of the icon to the type is most successful in #2...there's a nice balance and I like how you see DOG vertically on the left. Im just concerned about how it might look on a webpage because it's so tall. I think there's a nice shape to the type lockup of #1, but the icon and type are still feeling like separate entities.
ReplyDeleteNice job on your logo. I really like the 2nd one the most. The color choice is also nice and I'm glad you went with this shade of green. I agree, I'm not sure how a vertical logo might look on a webpage, but sometimes it can be worked out that way. I'd adjust the tracking on 'Dee' though, as it looks a bit tight compared to the 'Oh' and 'Gee'. I also really like the logo mark and what you did to it to make it both a dog's head and a paw print. Good job!
